Man noone speak truth and inspiration like she says. She’s not trying to be someone else she has her own style and genre. She is beautiful and even in acting she does it like its a piece of cake. Should i say she is a jive turkey…..!!!!

This album is amazing! I listen to it daily. Jill Scott as always delivers one of the most beautiful, soulful voices I have ever heard. Check out Let Me feat Sergio Mendez and Goodmorning Heartache feat Chris Botti - these two songs are super chill.

jill is cool, stay cool, i want your bras, i need your bras
March 13th, 2008 at 3:29 am
As cliche as this may sound, I love this album as I do the rest, However this album you can see the true diversity of Jill Scott as an artist. “Let Me” reflects the South American latino/Hip Hop intertexualtiy of the two genres which is very rare and lets not forget the PRECUSSION IS SUPERB… Not a lot of peoply go down that alley… “Good Morning Heart ache” has a nice vibe especially the outset of the song the, that solo just sets the mood.
On the whole the album is PHAT… and again reflects on how versiltile Jill is.

This CD is banging and don’t make no damn sense to be so good. Especially Love Rain Down number 14. Thanks for sticking to good music and your rendition of God bless the child solidifies your credentials as a pioneering Jazz Legend.

This CD is BRILLIANT. You are spectacular, in a class of your very own. Thank you for giving us this part of you.
The cut with Lupe Fiasco is a favorite as well as Let Me w/ Will.i.am & Sergio Mendes. Love Rain with Mos Def is amazing , both remixes, it’s as though he was made to do this REMIX. Can’t wait to hear more from Darius Rucker. Will Smith and COMMON, I am overwhelmed
and honored to have purchased this CD on DAY 1.
I don’t know of ANY other female artist that could have invigorated this level of magnetic energy from these artists. It takes an extremely gifted artist to tap into the spirit and bring out the best from such a wide range of male artists.
You have created a MASTERPIECE, a true collaboration!

The collaboration with Common and Bilal are incredible (especialy “8 Minutes to Sunrise”) and the Billie Holiday cover is in my headphones each time I look out at the beautiful L.A. sunrise each morning.
