Hidden Beach Celebrates Black History Month

- Outdoor media campaign launches “Making Black History” Campaign -

Onitsha

February 12, 2008 (Santa Monica, CA) Hidden Beach Recordings is celebrating Black History month this year with an outdoor media campaign in Los Angeles. Timed to maximize industry awareness to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the Grammy Awards, the outdoor media campaign consists of one dozen 30-sheet billboards in the Hollywood, South-Central, and Crenshaw districts of Los Angeles, as well as the City of Inglewood.

Thornell Jones, Marketing for Hidden Beach says “People often think of History as something from the past. With our campaign, we’re saying that artists and their music which are relevant today will be relevant in the future. Hidden Beach has a commitment to quality music and artists. In a declining marketplace – it’s a notable distinction which sets this label apart, not to mention the fact that Hidden Beach is Black owned and operated.”If you’re in Los Angeles, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Billboards making label history.

Hi Jill, I wish you give slacker.com the rights to play your music. I can’t see you in Detroit because all of the seats are sold. However If I can afford a brokers price and the seat is close enough I hold up a sing that says “Toledo Luvs Jill Scott”. If not I’ll see you in New Orleans with the same sign (lol).

Keep up the good work.
